NPRO
Kedington has secured two prestigious projects in Beaumont and James Street Hospitals. Kedington will build the voice, data, wi-fi, cctv and Structured Cabling at these facilities in line with the latest modern day standards.
Radiation oncology is the use of radiotherapy to treat cancer. The radiation (high-energy rays) kills or shrinks tumour cells and requires robust and secure networks, built to the latest standards by high class contractors, such as Kedington. In July 2005, the Minister for Health and Children, Mary Harney, T.D. announced the Government’s approval for a national network for Radiation Oncology services.
The capital investment is to be provided through a combination of exchequer and public private partnership (PPP) funding. The services planned for Dublin will be delivered in two phases. The Phase 1 facilities will be procured traditionally by the HSE, with the Phase 2 facilities being procured under a PPP contract.
Facebook – Hamburg, Germany

Following our successful installations in Dublin for Facebook, Kedington were asked by the company to provide a complete network solution in their new offices in Hamburg, Germany. The project, completed over 4 days included voice and data points throughout the building, installing a wireless network and UPS system.

IAA
Kedington have just completed the construction of the network for the Irish Aviation Authority’s new Headquarters in Dublin. The network supplied includes, CAT6a cabling, Avocent Infrastructure Management and power monitoring system and a TV distribution system.
Curraheen Hospital
Kedington have been awarded a Turnkey contract to supply cabling, data switching, wireless and network management for the new Curraheen Hospital in Cork.
Waterford Institute of Technology
Kedington awarded a contract to build a data centre for WIT. When completed the new facility will be the highest power density facility on the island, supporting loads of up to 30 Kw per cabinet.

Tripoli Zoo
Kedington been awarded the contract to design, supply and deploy a converged wired and wireless network for a leading Middle-Eastern Zoo.
Elan (San Francisco)
Kedington are pleased to announce a meeting of two innovative minds! With the help of our most experienced cabling consultants and installers, Élan Pharmaceuticals have completed works on Phase I of their premises in San Francisco, USA. The project, which included several weeks of on-site mediation between Kedington and multiple services, proved to be hugely successful.

EMC Paris
Members of the Kedington onsite network service team at EMC ‘s facility in Cork have recently completed upgrade works at EMC’s Data Centre in Paris, France. The project included the provision of Cat6 UTP and multi-fibre plug ’n play fibre optic solutions for inter-rack connectivity within the data centre. Members of the team travelled from Cork to Paris and successfully completed the installation. Kedington have previously travelled to Paris and carried out similar works at this data centre.
EMC are the world’s leading provider of data storage platforms, information infrastructure systems, software and services. Kedington provide onsite service support at EMC’s Cork facility for their voice and data networks.
HEAnet
HEAnet Ltd (Higher Education Authority network) and Kedington have, over the past six months, been upgrading the UPS in various PoPs (Institute of Technology, Universities, etc) countrywide. We have been replacing the old APC, end of life kit, with newer current range APC UPS modules. This project has involved liaising with the IT Managers of the various Campuses together with HEAnet to ensure the smooth transition from old model to new.
