ElanÉlan , San Francisco Phase II

Following our involvement in Phase I , Kedington have successfully completed final works on Phase II of Élan’s premises in San Francisco.

Irish RailTransport 21, Irish Rail

Kedington has been recently completed the voice and data cabling installation at the new commuter rail stations at Hansfield, Pace and Dunboyne.


Warner Chilcott

Kedington to complete passive infrastructure for the global specialty pharmaceutical company, Warner Chilcott. The ‘Going Green’ project for the company’s new premises in Dundalk is due for completion December 2010.

St Andrews College

St Andrews CollegeKedington group wins contract to upgrade St. Andrews College (Blackrock) network infrastructure.
Kedington has won the contract to design, supply and install a complete upgrade of the network in St. Andrews College. Kedington will provide a Systimax Cat 6A copper edge and Systimax LazrSPEED fibre backbone infrastructure. The 10Gb capable, centrally managed network employs a resilient network core and the latest managed wireless (802.11n) technologies. Kedington will supply and install over 500 Gigabit Ethernet ports utilising HP (formerly 3Com) network switched ports and campus wide Wi-Fi coverage.

Grange Community College

Grange Community College

Kedington group wins contract to provide Grange Community College with a gigabit network.
Kedington will provide a Systimax GigaSPEED Cat 6 copper edge and Systimax LazrSPEED fibre backbone infrastructure. In addition, Kedington will supply and install over 500 Gigabit Ethernet ports utilising HP (formerly 3Com) network switched ports.

Cavan Institute

Cavan InstituteKedington group wins contract to upgrade Cavan Institute network infrastructure to Gigabit. Kedington will supply and install over 350 additional Gigabit Ethernet ports utilising HP (formerly 3Com) network switched ports.


Ballincollig Garda Station

GardaKedington starts construction of data network for new garda station in Ballincollig, Cork using AMP and structured cabling.


NPRO

HSEKedington has secured two prestigious projects in Beaumont and James Street Hospitals. Kedington will build the voice, data, wi-fi, cctv and Structured Cabling at these facilities in line with the latest modern day standards.

Radiation oncology is the use of radiotherapy to treat cancer. The radiation (high-energy rays) kills or shrinks tumour cells and requires robust and secure networks, built to the latest standards by high class contractors, such as Kedington. In July 2005, the Minister for Health and Children, Mary Harney, T.D. announced the Government’s approval for a national network for Radiation Oncology services.

The capital investment is to be provided through a combination of exchequer and public private partnership (PPP) funding. The services planned for Dublin will be delivered in two phases. The Phase 1 facilities will be procured traditionally by the HSE, with the Phase 2 facilities being procured under a PPP contract.

Following our successful installations in Dublin for Facebook, Kedington were asked by the company to provide a complete network solution in their new offices in Hamburg, Germany. The project, completed over 4 days included voice and data points throughout the building, installing a wireless network and UPS system.

Kedington have just completed the construction of the network for the Irish Aviation Authority’s new Headquarters in Dublin. The network supplied includes, CAT6a cabling, Avocent Infrastructure Management and power monitoring system and a TV distribution system.

Curraheen Hospital

Kedington have been awarded a Turnkey contract to supply cabling, data switching, wireless and network management for the new Curraheen Hospital in Cork.

Waterford Institute of Technology

Kedington awarded a contract to build a data centre for WIT. When completed the new facility will be the highest power density facility on the island, supporting loads of up to 30 Kw per cabinet.

Elan (San Francisco)

The project, which included several weeks of on-site mediation between Kedington and multiple services, proved to be hugely successful.

EMC Paris

EMCMembers of the Kedington onsite network service team at EMC ‘s facility in Cork have recently completed upgrade works at EMC’s Data Centre in Paris, France. The project included the provision of Cat6 UTP and multi-fibre plug ’n play fibre optic solutions for inter-rack connectivity within the data centre. Members of the team travelled from Cork to Paris and successfully completed the installation. Kedington have previously travelled to Paris and carried out similar works at this data centre.

EMC are the world’s leading provider of data storage platforms, information infrastructure systems, software and services. Kedington provide onsite service support at EMC’s Cork facility for their voice and data networks.

HEAnetHEAnet

HEAnet Ltd (Higher Education Authority network) and Kedington have, over the past six months, been upgrading the UPS in various PoPs (Institute of Technology, Universities, etc) countrywide. We have been replacing the old APC, end of life kit, with newer current range APC UPS modules. This project has involved liaising with the IT Managers of the various Campuses together with HEAnet to ensure the smooth transition from old model to new.
